Vacant/Centre serves as Vacant's operational base, nestled in the Yoyogi-Hachiman area of Tokyo. This seven-floor multi-purpose complex, which includes a five-story main building and a two-story annex, was fully renovated in-house.
The gallery, located in the semi-basement of the main building, regularly features exhibitions curated by Vacant. In the kitchen space on the first floor of the annex at the rear of the main building, hosts occasional food events. On the second floor, our store space showcases Vacant’s original products and artworks by various artists.
The remaining floors include Vacant’s atelier and collective offices, along with a residence and studio floors where artists can stay and work.
