『POLYLOG（ポリローグ）』は、Vacantが提案する「文化的対話」の場です。人それぞれが持つ多層的な文化体験を、他者との対話を通じて再発見し、自らと文化との関係を深めていくことを目的としています。 本展は、2025年10月に発刊予定の『Vacant/Edition #2 “Polylog” Issue』に先駆けて、本書内でVacantの永井と対話を交わした6名の作家によるグループ展です。Vacant/Centreでの展示は、作家との対話を重ね、その空間でしか立ち 上がらない独自の「場」を創出することで、作品と鑑賞者の対話を促そうとする試みでもあります。 作家と出会い、対話を経て展示がどのように構想され、現われていったのか。そのプロセスを辿りながら、作品を紹介していきます。

“POLYLOG” is a platform for “cultural dialogue” proposed by Vacant. Its aim is to rediscover the layered cultural experiences each individual carries, and to deepen one’s relationship with culture through dialogue with others.
This exhibition, preceding the release of Vacant/Edition #2 “Polylog” Issue scheduled for publication in October 2025, presents a group show of six artists who engaged in conversations with Yusuke Nagai of Vacant for the publication.
At Vacant/Centre, the exhibition becomes an attempt to foster dialogue between works and viewers by cultivating a unique “place” that emerges only through repeated exchanges with the artists and the specific qualities of the space. The exhibition traces the process of how encounters and dialogues with the artists shaped the conception and manifestation of the works, while presenting them to the audience.
