クリスチャン・ハマー・ユールとジェイド・チャンは、デザイン・アカデミー・アイントホーフェンで協働を始めました。現在はコペンハーゲンを拠点に、家具、オブジェ、インスタレーションの領域を行き来しながら活動しています。二人は当初から、ものに秘められた暮らしへの深い愛着を共有してきました。素材がどのように歴史を宿すのか、オブジェがどのように儀式や親密さ、時間の物語を抱えているのか、ということです。
 
Christian+Jade is a Copenhagen-based design duo whose practice moves between furniture, objects, and installation. Since meeting at Design Academy Eindhoven, Christian Hammer Juhl and Jade Chan have developed a material-led approach that combines traditional and contemporary techniques, keeping the traces of making visible. For aarticles, they contribute with Vanity Set, a silver-plated comb and mirror designed as intimate, tactile objects. The pieces explore the space between utility, ritual, and everyday life.
