ソウルを拠点に活動するユン・ヨドンは、彫刻・オブジェ・インスタレーションのあいだを行き来する金属作品を制作しています。成形する、ヘアライン（ブラッシュ）仕上げを施す、着色する、組み替えるなど、金属をさまざまな状態で扱います。制作の中心にあるのは「静中動（Jung Jung Dong）」、つまり「動きを内に秘めた静けさ」という考え方です。作品は止まっているように見えますが、時間の流れに共鳴するように、かすかな振動を帯びています。
 
Yeodong Yun is a Seoul-based artist whose practice explores metal through sculpture, object, and installation. At the core of her work is Jung Jung Dong (靜中動) — stillness that contains movement — reflecting an interest in the tension between permanence and change.
 
Drawing on Korean history and traditional metalwork, Yun transforms rigid materials into forms that feel delicate and dynamic. For aarticles Collection 01, she developed the Ball Series, sculptural tableware combining brushed metal plates with polished spherical forms. The collaboration now evolves with new pieces, rooted in the original concept of balance, weight, and movement.
