光に透けて見えるFRPの繊維の重なりは、まさに空間に漂う力を吸い寄せているかのようでもある。静かな浮遊感をまとったAztecは、空間を照らすだけでなく、そこにある気配も浮かびあがらせる。

The stepped form has appeared repeatedly throughout history, from ancient Aztec temples to the geometric language of twentieth-century Art Deco. More than a decorative motif, it seems to function as a device that gives form to an invisible concentration of energy, quietly shaping the way we perceive the space around us.

When illuminated, the layered fibres of the FRP appear almost as if they are drawing in the unseen forces suspended in the air. Wrapped in a quiet sense of levitation, it not only casts light into a space, but also brings its hidden atmosphere gently into view.

Handcrafted from uncoated FRP (fibreglass reinforced plastic), this lampshade preserves the material's distinctive layered fibres in their natural state. While its sculptural form has a strong presence, light diffuses gently through the layers of fibreglass, casting a soft and ambient glow. The pendant socket is supplied by BP.
